About Dr. Reck
With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Reck has been providing his patients with exceptional dental care. Utilizing a gentle, compassionate manner, he first and foremost takes the time to acquaint himself with each patient's individual needs. It has been his goal to treat patients in a timely fashion, applying and embracing up to date advances in technology to help deliver treatment in better and more efficient ways.
Education and Experience
A graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, Dr. Reck received his B.S. in Biology in 1985 with a concentration on Dental Anatomy of the Temporomandibular Joint. He then attended Fairleigh S. Dickinson College of Dental Medicine, in Hackensack, NJ from 1985 to 1989, where he earned his Doctor of Medicinal Dentistry (DMD) Degree with concentration in occlusion, orthodontics and treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Throughout his career to date, Dr. Reck has taken many post-graduate continuing education courses in all phases of general dentistry, as well as orthodontics and TMJ therapy.
He is a certified Invisalign and Clear Correct aligner therapy provider, and also has over 20 years experience in treating adult patients with short-term orthodontics. He has also studied with Dr. Terrance J. Spahl, DDS, who is an internationally recognized clinician, author, and lecturer on the subject of the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders. Dr. Reck has also received training in soft-tissue laser therapy, which can treat periodontal disease in a non-surgical, less invasive manner.

Outside the Office
A lifelong resident of Monmouth County, Dr. Reck grew up in the Navesink/Atlantic Highlands area. From high school thru dental school, he worked in the marine trades as a certified marine engine technician. Formerly an avid ocean sailing racer, Dr. Reck competed in numerous open-ocean sailboat races from Newport Rhode Island to Bermuda. During the last 8 years he has been involved in the development of auto racing, specifically the F-Series Gear Up Challenge, a nationally recognized Series of premier Kart racing. At this time he serves as the chief technical director of This Kart Racing Series.
